We are lucky to have our very own imaging ward at our hospital; including digital x-ray, ultrasound, portable dental radiography and the ability to perform contrast studies. We also have access to the services of Veterinary Imaging Associates for cases that require specialist input such as hip scoring and echocardiography, and referral is available for endoscopy, CT and MRI. Most procedures are done under sedation and/or anaesthetic to ensure comfort of the patient and good quality images. However in a small number of cases and at the discretion of the vet we may choose to do so without  chemical restraint.
